May 23, 2012 - Inspiration Postcard: Italian Adventures

Elena just returned from a wonderful Italian adventure. While a dear friend and client's Umbrian wedding prompted the trip, her itinerary expanded to include Rome, Florence, Milan, and Cinque Terre. Italy brought delectable savories and sweets along with breathtaking sights from green vistas and lavender fields to ancient structures juxtaposing the modern. Her images captured notions we will collage into our design process: textures and patterning, passageways and doors, and compositions of old with new.
