Elena just returned from a wonderful Italian adventure. While a dear friend and client's Umbrian wedding prompted the trip, her itinerary expanded to include Rome, Florence, Milan, and Cinque Terre. Italy brought delectable savories and sweets along with breathtaking sights from green vistas and lavender fields to ancient structures juxtaposing the modern. We attended the book launch party at 1st Dibs at the New York Design Center for "Be Your Own Decorator," Susanna Salk's new book from Rizzoli. Salk showcases the industry's top designers including Curated. The Iacono Residence, featured in the Balance chapter, highlights how to achieve harmony in decor that is both "soothing and spirited." Curated. unveils their interior project of environmentally conscious furnishings, objects and lighting for C6, a low cost, sustainably-designed, prefabricated home by LivingHomes, being exhibited at the TED2012 Conference from February 27 through March 12, 2012. C6 is First Energy Star Certified Production Home with LEED Platinum Status. Curated. partners convened in San Francisco for their annual fall retreat. San Francisco was the perfect backdrop for a week of reflection and wide-eyed forecasting. Both vibrant and historic, the setting provided all the necessary components for Elena and Delta to map out Curated. intentions for 2012. Curated. "helped rewrite the building's narrative from troubled condo to high-design wonder" reports Jason Sheftell of our 144 North 8th building. His in depth article describing the project's interesting path to completion was featured in New York's Daily News. Curated was retained to redesign the entire interior on the project after the building was designed and already under construction.
